Golang Job: Software Engineer

'New software engineering opening for an early to mid-career C++ software engineer with one of Australia's most successful technology companies. This award-winning, ASX listed group needs a talented software engineer with existing commercial experience (around 2-5 years) to work on a variety of leading edge product development projects.

Essential:

• A computer science or related degree
• A strong academic record
• Commercial C++ experience
• Good knowledge of Linux (Windows or macOS also helpful)
• Exposure to network programming (TCP/IP, sockets etc.)

• Agile, TDD or CI/CD experience
• Excellent organisational and communication skills

Optional:

• Linux internals
• Cmake
• Cross-platform UI development
• Golang, Rust
• Scripting experience e.g. Python

• Cross-platform development
• Exposure to embedded systems
